yeah.. i'm not cutting off my ring gear ( have manual 335I ) and you shouldn't have to, the spider gears can still be removed and refitted, you can even use the hubs to hold in place, then use the dif pin when installign side gears for proper alignment, remove center pin, and rotate into place install LSD, and center pin.

Good comparison! The heat exchange on any engine plays a crucial role in its longevity and reliability. It's definitely improved but only time and miles will verify!
2 things... dont even bother removing that line from the rack. Just remove fluid from the reservoir, refill it, run the engine and keep emptying and refilling it. Also when you bleed it you have to turn the wheel about 30 times back and forth without the engine on so you get as much fluid in the system as possible, THEN turn the engine on and further bleed it that way. Less air bubbles

he why did you go from electronic to pneumatic wastegate, the electronic at stage 1 provides 260hp and pneumatic at 235hp isnt it better to use the electronic wastegate?
I’m not sure if you went over it, but how much HP can you push reliably out of a b46/b48 block?
Hi, I’m doing a bunch of the bolt on upgrades all at once…VRSF 7.5 FMIC, cold and hot side charge pipes, charge pipe with TiAL BOV, cold air intake, turbo outlet pipe, and both front and rear turbo inlet pipes, and of course, down pipes. I’m also upgrading the valve cover to aluminum (had a gasket leak so might as well), index 12 injectors, high performance coil packs, 2 step colder plugs, a JB4 tune, and walnut blasting the cold side of the intake valves. My question is regarding the rear turbo inlet pipe removal and install of the new one, mostly because it seems to be becoming a real pain in the ass, in my situation, having to remove the valve cover and intake manifold to do the other parts of the job, would it be easier to take them off prior to trying to remove the stock plastic rear inlet pipe? It’s rigid plastic and doesn’t seem to have clearance. Would this avoid the need to cut it or lower the motor to get it out whole? And second, what is a solution to the flat bracket that holds the lower part of that pipe? It certainly looks like it will be in the way of the new silicone pipe. I haven’t been able to figure out a way to get at the bolt that holds it on, and it seems like it would be very precarious to try to cut it out, and I don’t see a way to move it out of the way? Thanks in advance for any productive insight!

It's been long enough - how is the 330 doing with 500hp?
@@aleksd935 I’ve been away but daily driving the 330 and beating on it typically once per trip. I installed a CSF heat exchanger a few months back. Hope to get back to some uploads now. Car has been holding up great with the approximate 540 crank hp and 580 crank torque.
Great video but I’m stuck, I completely loosened the 3 13mm bolts but I can’t remove the bottom bolt & the rear bolt, keeps hitting the frame. How do I get enough room to tilt it?

I get a 330i without m sport differential. It has open differential instead. I'm aware that you talk about differential topic at 20:03. Sounds like it is near impossible to install M sport differential afterward. How do you feel about 3rd-party limited-slip differential, like QUAIFE?

HI, got 330i g20 months ago ,love the car just missing bit of power. so i have been looking into tuning and since im new to it , im very reluctant if is worh the future hasle with durability.Found yr vids very knowledgeable and thank you. So i have a question. How far can i tune stock considering durability without replacing parts ? some companies saying only +25kw and 63nm torque ..what do u think? thx alot.
Worked for me! A few things to note The latch is like 5in behind the left black plastic plate ( was overshooting it by a lot on mine) Def take the grill off! And if you can manage to see a screw with the light ( hard todo but iykyk) thats the rear screw. The latch mouth( housing ) is like 2 in in-front of that. Happy to help anyone thats stuck!

Your education is really excellent and it solves the problem, but my problem is beyond this and the reason is the place where I live and the country where I live, which has a law similar to the law of the jungle. My compatriots trample my fellow countrymen and cause my country to be embargoed, that's why cars and spare parts and all the things people need are very expensive or rare. He found a valve door in the parking lot and the ability to buy a valve door that costs 500 dollars in my country has disrupted my life and I am slowly getting depressed. 😭

There is on thing I don’t understand, the b48 internal can handle only 300hp as far as I know , shouldn’t you change also the internals while upgrading the turbo? I’m confused or am I misinformed
No when and engine that turbo from factory usually has forged components, with the b48 you can hit 400 safety and still have room for more
